Soft trace-mineral blue in a steadying carbonate stone

Product Description

This Blue Aragonite Crystal Tower is polished into a faceted, single-terminated point in a soft blue, its colour rising from trace minerals within the calcium carbonate. Each Tower is drawn from a lot, so colour depth and the exact size and weight vary from piece to piece. At roughly 2 to 4 inches it sits neatly in the hand or on a shelf.

Aragonite is traditionally associated with Balance and Harmony, valued as a steadying, centring stone. It is commonly kept for Protection and Grounding and used as a focal point for settling and re-centring during quiet practice.

Geological Information
Aragonite is a calcium carbonate mineral with a Mohs hardness of 3.5 to 4 and an orthorhombic crystal system. It is one of two common calcium carbonate polymorphs alongside calcite, sharing the same chemistry but a different crystal structure, and it occurs in white, yellow, brown, orange, and blue depending on trace mineral impurities. Aragonite is also the mineral component of nacre and coral. It was first described in the Aragon region of Spain in 1797, which gives the mineral its name. This tower form is also sold as an Obelisk or a Point, all describing the same faceted, single-terminated cut. Principal sources include Spain, Morocco, Mexico, the United States, and the Czech Republic.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Aragonite is soft at Mohs 3.5 to 4 and is sensitive to water and acids. Keep it dry, wipe with a soft dry cloth only, and store it away from harder stones.
