Skeleton Hearts Hand-Painted Stick and Cone Burner (5.5 in)
Product Description
The Skeleton Hearts Hand-Painted Stick and Cone Burner is cast as a single heart, its interior filled with two skeletons resting side by side and framed by a dense border of roses, small blossoms, and leaves. Cast in cold cast resin and finished by hand, the piece keeps its bone tones pale and matte while the flowers carry warm coral, peach, and green, with brushwork that varies slightly piece to piece. A central recess through the heart holds a stick upright and also accepts a cone, so one burner covers both incense formats. The incense stick shown in the product photograph is for demonstration only and is not included; incense is sold separately.
The pairing of skeletal figures with flowers draws on a long visual tradition, most familiar from Day of the Dead imagery, that places bone and blossom together as a single idea rather than as opposites. Read this way, the piece is commonly associated with themes of love enduring beyond death, and with the acceptance of mortality as a natural companion to life rather than something to be feared. This makes it as fitting on an altar or memorial space as it is on an open shelf as a striking decorative statement.

Each piece is selected for its quality, craftsmanship, and intended use. Every product is selected to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding. Use with incense sticks and cones only; do not use with charcoal discs or other high-heat fuels, which can scorch or melt resin. Burn on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from drafts and flammable materials, out of reach of children and pets. Never leave burning incense unattended.
