Dendritic Agate with Druse Tumbled Stone - 20-30 mm

Branching dendritic agate with sparkling druze pockets
$4.95

Product Description

Dendritic Agate with Druse Tumbled Stones pair a translucent-to-white agate body with fine black and brown branching inclusions, and this material also carries small druze pockets where tiny crystals sparkle against the polished surface. The dendrites spread like fern or branch shapes across each stone, and the druze adds a glittering textural contrast. At this size the stones are smooth and easy to hold while still showing detail.

Dendritic Agate is traditionally associated with balance and a sense of slow, grounded growth, and is often chosen by people drawn to its connection with nature and steady progress. It is commonly carried, placed in a workspace or garden window, or held in reflection. The combination of branching pattern and druze sparkle also makes it a distinctive display piece.

Each stone shows a unique spread of dendrites and its own placement of druze, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Dendritic Agate is a chalcedony variety of the quartz family, silicon dioxide of the trigonal system at a Mohs hardness of 7. Its translucent-to-white base carries black or brown branching inclusions called dendrites, formed by manganese or iron oxide crystals growing through fractures in the silica during formation. These dendrites are often mistaken for fossils, but they are mineral formations rather than organic remains, a point worth clarifying. The druze in this material consists of tiny quartz crystals lining small natural pockets. When opaque white, similar material is sometimes called Tree Agate. Dendritic Agate was used in ancient Greek and Roman traditions as an agricultural talisman. This material is sourced from Madagascar, with further deposits commonly noted in India, Brazil, the USA, Kazakhstan and China.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
