Product Description

This Chevron Amethyst Tumbled Stone shows the stone's signature banding, with V-shaped layers of purple Amethyst alternating against milky white quartz. Colour shifts from soft lilac to deep violet across the bands, and the polish brings out the contrast between the purple and white zones. Smooth and palm-friendly, each Chevron Amethyst reads as a small piece of natural patterning.

Chevron Amethyst is traditionally valued for intuition and spiritual awareness, with an added grounding quality many attribute to its banded white quartz. It is commonly used in meditation, placed by the bedside, or held during quiet reflection, and is believed to support a calm, clear mind. The combination of Amethyst's long reputation with a distinctive banded appearance makes the Chevron Amethyst a favourite for both practice and display.

Each Chevron Amethyst is natural and one of a kind, its banding, colour depth, and chevron pattern shifting from stone to stone.

Geological Information
Chevron Amethyst is a banded member of the quartz family, silicon dioxide with iron impurities arranged in alternating purple and white layers, with a Mohs hardness of 7 and a trigonal structure. The distinctive V-shaped chevron pattern forms when iron-bearing purple quartz and iron-free white quartz crystallize in alternating bands during hydrothermal growth, driven by oscillating iron availability in the silica-rich fluid. The result is a single stone showing both the full purple of Amethyst and the clarity of white quartz in clean geometric layers. It shares the long documented history of Amethyst across Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Christian traditions. Primary sources are Brazil, with additional material from India, Madagascar, and Namibia.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Like all Amethyst-based stones, Chevron Amethyst can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Display or store it out of strong, constant sun to preserve the depth of its purple colour.
