Prasiolite Tumbled Stone - 10-25 mm
Product Description
Prasiolite Tumbled Stones carry a soft, pale green that runs from leek-green to a faint minty translucence, polished to a clean glassy finish. These are small stones, easy to tuck into a pocket or gather into a dish, and the light passes gently through the more translucent pieces. The colour is calm and even rather than vivid, which suits the quieter character buyers associate with this stone.
Prasiolite is commonly associated with gentle clarity and steadiness of feeling, and is often chosen by people who prefer a softer energy than brighter quartz varieties. It is held in quiet moments, placed at a desk or workspace, or given as a small, undemanding gift. Its size makes it well suited to carrying or to a grid of several pieces.
Because this is natural quartz material, each Prasiolite stone differs slightly in tone and translucency, with no two identical.

Geological Information
Prasiolite is the green variety of quartz, silicon dioxide crystallizing in the trigonal system at a Mohs hardness of 7. It is sometimes sold as green amethyst, though that trade name is mineralogically inaccurate. Its pale green colour comes from iron and is produced when specific iron-bearing amethyst is heated. Natural prasiolite is extremely rare; almost all material on the market, including this piece, is heat-treated amethyst, and that heat-treated origin is disclosed here. Most commercial stone is produced by heating selected Brazilian amethyst to roughly 500 degrees Celsius. It has no strong ancient tradition and is primarily a modern retail stone. This material is sourced from Brazil, with limited natural occurrences in Arizona, USA.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
As an amethyst-based material, Prasiolite can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Display and store it out of strong, direct light to preserve its colour.
