Black Obsidian with Amethyst Point Wand - 7.25 inch

A black glass wand tipped with clear violet crystal
$139.95

Product Description

The Black Obsidian Wand is a long, carved wand with a body of jet-black Obsidian tipped with a faceted purple Amethyst point, and a decorative metal fitting where the two meet. The Obsidian body is a smooth, glassy black, the Amethyst point a clear violet, and each Black Obsidian Wand is unique in the exact colour of its Amethyst tip and the character of its Obsidian body. It is a self-contained tool sized for the hand, suited to altar work or display.

This wand pairs two well-known stones: Black Obsidian, associated with protection and grounding, and Amethyst, associated with intuition and spiritual awareness. Together they are commonly used as a directing tool in ritual or intention work, or simply kept as a striking decorative piece on an altar or shelf. The wand is sold individually.

As natural stones, each Black Obsidian Wand differs in the tone of its Amethyst point and the surface character of its Obsidian body, so no two are quite alike.

Geological Information
This wand combines Black Obsidian and Amethyst. Black Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass (silicon dioxide, Mohs 5-5.5, amorphous), formed when silica-rich lava cools too rapidly for crystals to grow; its conchoidal fracture produces very sharp edges, and it was one of the most important tool materials in human prehistory. Amethyst is the purple variety of the Quartz family (silicon dioxide, Mohs 7, trigonal system), coloured by iron impurities and natural irradiation. Obsidian sources include the USA and Mexico; Amethyst sources include Brazil and Uruguay. The metal fitting joining the two is a manufactured component.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
The Amethyst point can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, so keep the Black Obsidian Wand away from strong, sustained sunlight. The Obsidian body is a glass and can chip if knocked, so handle it with care and protect it from impacts.
