Blue Sapphire Aventurine Tumbled Stone - 20-30 mm
Product Description
This Blue Aventurine Tumbled Stone is a polished quartz piece in blue to grey-blue tones, carrying the faint metallic shimmer (aventurescence) that runs through the stone. The colour shifts from soft steel-blue to deeper denim shades, with a subtle glitter visible as the piece turns under light. Smooth and palm-sized, the Blue Aventurine has a cool, even feel.
Blue Aventurine is traditionally linked to calm, stress relief, and clear communication, and is often turned to for a settled, focused state of mind. People commonly keep it on a desk, carry it through a demanding day, or hold it during quiet reflection. Its calming reputation and throat-area associations make the Blue Aventurine a steady, understated choice.
As a natural material, each Blue Aventurine differs in tone, shimmer, and shape, so your piece will not match the photograph exactly.

Geological Information
Blue Aventurine is a quartz, silicon dioxide with dumortierite inclusions, with a Mohs hardness of 7 and a trigonal structure. Its blue to grey-blue colour and the metallic glittering effect known as aventurescence both come from flat dumortierite platelet inclusions that reflect light through the quartz matrix. The aventurescence is the defining identifier, visible as a metallic shimmer, and it distinguishes Blue Aventurine from Blue Calcite and blue chalcedony. The blue variety carries calming and communicative associations aligned with its throat and third eye connections. India is the primary commercial source, with additional material from Chile.
