Fluorite Rough Bookends - 5.5 inch
Product Description
These Green Fluorite Bookends are a matched pair of rough green fluorite pieces mounted on clear acrylic supports. The green runs from soft mint to deeper forest tones, with the glassy translucence and natural cleavage faces typical of raw fluorite. The acrylic supports are included, and the pair works as a functional, decorative set on a shelf or desk.
Green Fluorite is traditionally associated with growth, renewal, and steady balance, which suits a bookshelf, study, or workspace. As a Bookend pair it brings a calming natural accent to a functional spot.
Each piece is natural rough fluorite, so colour, translucence, and the exact shape of each half will differ from the pair photographed.

Geological Information
Green Fluorite is a halide mineral, calcium fluoride, with a Mohs hardness of 4 and a cubic crystal system; its green colour comes from trace impurities and colour centres within the crystal lattice. Fluorite has been prized since Roman times, the Latin fluere (to flow) naming it for its early use as a metallurgical flux. At Mohs 4 it is softer than most commercially traded stones and is sensitive to heat and strong acids. Origins: China is the primary commercial source, with additional material from the UK, the USA, and South Africa.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Green Fluorite is soft at Mohs 4 and scratches or chips more easily than most stones, so handle it gently and keep it away from harder materials. Keep it away from strong acids and excessive heat, which can damage the surface.
