Bowenite Tumbled Stone - 20-40 mm

Deep mottled green stone with a waxy, jade-like lustre
$2.95

Product Description

These Bowenite Tumbled Stones are smooth, rounded pieces in deep to mottled green with the waxy lustre typical of the serpentine group. Tumbling rounds the edges while preserving the dense, jade-like structure. Each stone is an individual piece with its own green tone.

Bowenite is traditionally associated with protection, grounding, and steady endurance, and it is a popular resilience carry stone. In tumbled form it suits a pocket, a grid, or a green-toned display.

These are natural stones, so colour, mottling, size, and shape vary from piece to piece, and the stones you receive will differ from those photographed.

Geological Information
Bowenite is a hard, compact variety of serpentine, a magnesium silicate hydroxide of the serpentine group with a Mohs hardness of 3 to 5 and a monoclinic structure; its data is drawn from the Serpentine entry. It ranges from pale yellow-green to deep forest green and is often mottled, and serpentine is frequently used as a jade substitute. It is a natural material. Origins: New Zealand, with serpentine also found in Italy, South Africa, the USA, Afghanistan, and China.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Bowenite is a serpentine-group stone and, at Mohs 3 to 5, is softer than quartz, so handle it gently and keep it away from harder stones to avoid scratches.
