Brecciated Jasper Worry Stone - 1.75-2 inch
Product Description
Brecciated Jasper Worry Stone cut to a broad oval with a thumb hollow across one face. The body is a deep brick red, broken into angular fragments by pale grey and white veining that runs between the pieces like mortar between bricks, and darker metallic flecks of hematite sit scattered through the matrix. The polish is high and the fragment boundaries read sharply, since the veining is a genuinely different material rather than a colour shift.
Red jasper is one of the most consistently documented stones across ancient Mesopotamian, Egyptian and Roman traditions, and the brecciated form carries that whole history. It is traditionally used for grounding and for stamina, commonly carried through demanding periods or held during focused effort. The fracture pattern is different on every piece and is the first thing most people look at.

Geological Information
Brecciated Jasper is a chalcedony variety of the quartz family, silicon dioxide with hematite fragments, crystallising in the trigonal system at Mohs 7. It begins as ordinary red jasper and is then fractured by geological movement and subsequently rehealed, with secondary minerals filling the breaks: grey chalcedony, hematite and iron oxide cementing the broken fragments back into a single stone. Brecciation is the technical name for that fracture-and-recementation process, and it is what produces the angular fragment pattern rather than any banding or flow. The pattern is entirely natural and no treatment is involved. South Africa is the primary source, with further material from India and the USA.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
