Caribbean Calcite Heart - 1.75-2.75 inch
Product Description
The Caribbean Calcite Heart is a soft mint to sea-green stone with cream and pale brown zones swirling through it, the boundaries between the two component minerals blending rather than meeting sharply. Thinner sections at the point and along the lobe edges pass light, giving the material a glow that fully opaque stones do not have. The polish is soft rather than glassy, in keeping with the low hardness. Colour balance and the proportion of green to cream differ substantially from piece to piece.
Caribbean Calcite is traditionally associated with calm and stress relief, having built its reputation quickly around a quieting quality rather than an active one. A secondary association with intuition and spiritual awareness places it in evening practice and dreamwork, and practitioners commonly keep it on a bedside table or somewhere a room is meant to settle. The colour is most of the appeal, and it wants a settled spot rather than a pocket given how readily the surface marks.

Geological Information
Caribbean Calcite is a composite stone rather than a single mineral: blue calcite and white to brown aragonite occurring together in one matrix, calcium carbonate throughout, at Mohs 3 in the trigonal system. The blue-green colouration in the calcite component is produced by trace copper or iron, while the cream and brown zones are the aragonite. Despite the name, the material has no connection to the Caribbean; it references a perceived resemblance to Caribbean water and is a purely commercial designation. The material is natural and requires no treatment. There is no ancient tradition attached to it, since the deposit entered the international market only around 2019, after which it became one of the fastest-adopted new introductions in the crystal trade. Pakistan is the only known commercial source.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
