Caribbean Calcite Specimen - 4.75-6.25 inch
Product Description
This Caribbean Calcite Specimen is a natural piece combining soft ocean-blue to teal calcite with cream and light brown aragonite, the two minerals meeting in swirled, watery patterns across the stone. The surface is polished to bring up the blue-and-cream contrast, and it sits as a calming, sea-toned display piece on a shelf, desk, or altar.
Caribbean Calcite is traditionally associated with calm, gentle intuition, and peaceful awareness, and is commonly used to soothe stress and support restful, reflective states. A specimen like this is often kept in a bedroom or meditation area, placed in a room as a serene focal point, or held during quiet practice. Its soft blue colouring makes it a popular piece for calming spaces.
Formed from natural Caribbean Calcite, each Specimen varies in the balance of blue calcite and cream aragonite and in its patterning, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Caribbean Calcite is a natural combination stone consisting of light blue to teal calcite together with cream to brown aragonite in a single matrix, with a hardness of around 3. The blue colour in the calcite comes from trace copper or iron. Despite the name, it has no connection to the Caribbean; the trade name references the resemblance of its blue-teal colour to Caribbean water. It is found exclusively at a single deposit in Pakistan, which is the sole commercial source, and it only entered the international crystal market around 2019.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Caribbean Calcite is soft (Mohs around 3) and sensitive to water and acids. Keep it dry, wipe it with a soft cloth rather than rinsing, and store it away from harder stones and from vinegar, citrus, or other acids to protect the polished surface.
