Sea-blue calcite and cream aragonite for calm and quiet
$8.95

Product Description

Caribbean Calcite Tumbled Stone is a smooth, polished natural stone blending soft light blue to teal calcite with cream and brown aragonite banding. Each piece is a rounded, hand-filling tumble with its own mix of blue and swirling aragonite. The stones suit a pocket, a bowl, or a grid.

Caribbean Calcite is traditionally associated with calm, soothing focus and quiet intuition, and it is commonly kept as a peaceful, meditative stone. Many people hold a tumbled piece during rest or reflection or keep one by the bed. Its gentle sea-blue tone makes it a calming gift.

As a natural combination stone, each Caribbean Calcite Tumbled Stone differs in the balance of blue calcite and cream-brown aragonite, so no two pieces look exactly alike.

Geological Information
Caribbean Calcite is a combination stone of blue calcite with white to brown aragonite, a calcium carbonate with a Mohs hardness of 3, found in a single deposit. The light blue to teal colour of the calcite comes from trace copper or iron. Despite its name it has no connection to the Caribbean; the term is a trade designation referencing the blue-teal resemblance to Caribbean water. It is a recently discovered material that entered the crystal market around 2019, and Pakistan is the only known source.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Caribbean Calcite is very soft at Mohs 3 and scratches easily, so store it on its own away from harder stones and handle it gently. Calcite is also sensitive to acids and moisture, so keep it dry, avoid contact with acidic liquids, and do not use it in water elixirs.
