Malachite Frog Carving - 2 inch
Product Description
This Malachite Frog Carving is a small figurine hand-carved from vivid green Malachite, showing the light-and-dark banding of the stone across the shape of a seated frog. The polished surface gives it a smooth, glossy finish, and it sits as a rich green decorative accent on a desk, shelf, or windowsill.
Malachite is traditionally associated with transformation, protective strength, and emotional awareness, and frog carvings are a popular form for those drawn to symbols of change, luck, and renewal. A piece like this is often kept as a decorative object, placed in a workspace or reflective space, or given as a small gift. Its banded green makes it a distinctive collectible carving.
Carved from natural Malachite, this Frog carries its own banding and carving detail, so it is a one-of-a-kind piece.

Geological Information
Malachite is a copper carbonate hydroxide with a hardness of 3.5 to 4 and a monoclinic structure, producing some of the most vivid greens in the mineral world, with its colour coming entirely from copper. Its characteristic banding of alternating light and dark green forms by rhythmic precipitation of copper carbonate during formation, and that banding is what gives carved pieces their flowing green pattern. It was ground for green eyeshadow in ancient Egypt, and the Malachite Room in the Winter Palace in St Petersburg remains one of the most spectacular decorative uses of the mineral. The material is sourced chiefly from the Democratic Republic of Congo, with further deposits in Zambia, Russia, and Australia.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Malachite is copper-bearing. The polished carving is safe for normal handling and display, but wash your hands after handling and do not use it to make water elixirs. It is also soft (Mohs 3.5 to 4) and sensitive to water and acids, so keep it dry, handle it gently, and store it apart from harder stones.
