Celestial Tarot Deck

Celestial Tarot is painted by Kay Steventon in deep blues and cool luminous light, with figures set against star fields and night sky. The imagery reaches for the mythological archetypes behind the constellations rather than the constellations as diagrams, so each card reads as a scene from a story someone once told about the sky. A booklet accompanies the deck.

The deck is organised as a handbook of the heavens as much as a divinatory tool. Every Major Arcana card answers to a constellation or a planet, every minor suit to one of the four astrological elements, and the booklet opens with a chart laying the whole scheme out so the correspondences can be checked rather than memorised. That structure gives a reading a second axis: a card can be taken on its own terms, or read through the myth and the celestial body standing behind it.
