Selenite Polished Charging Bar - 4.0 inch
Product Description
The Selenite Polished Charging Bar is a solid rectangular block of moon-white stone, polished smooth so its natural fibrous striations run the length of the bar in soft, silky bands that seem to glow from within. Its flat, stable surface and hand-friendly length make it an easy fixture on a nightstand, altar, or entryway tray, quietly elegant even before it is put to work.
Selenite carries long associations with clarity, calm, and cleansing, and bars of this kind are used as resting bases for jewelry, tumbled stones, and pocket pieces, with the belief that anything laid on the surface is cleared and returned to a balanced state. Many keep one where daily-wear pieces land at the end of the day, so the recharge happens without a second thought.

Geological Information
Selenite is a crystalline variety of gypsum, composed of hydrous calcium sulphate. It forms as mineral-rich waters evaporate in sedimentary environments, leaving fibrous layers that solidify into translucent masses with a distinctive silky lustre; that fibre structure is what gives a polished bar its soft internal glow. The stone is named for Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, and thin Selenite slabs served as window material in the ancient world before glass was common. This bar is natural and untreated. Morocco is the primary commercial source, with further deposits in Mexico, the USA, Poland, and Australia.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Selenite is a soft stone (Mohs 2-2.5) and scratches easily. It is water soluble; prolonged exposure to water will permanently damage the surface. Keep dry, dust with a soft cloth, and handle with care.
