Product Description

The Angel Aura Zeolite Specimen is a cluster of fine druzy Zeolite crystals finished with a man-made Angel Aura coating, which lends the crystal crust a soft iridescent sheen of pale rainbow colour. The tiny crystal points catch the light with a pearly, shifting shimmer across the white-to-translucent body, and the piece is shown in its natural cluster form with the iridescent finish bonded permanently to the surface.

Zeolite minerals of this type are traditionally associated with calm, creativity and restful ease, and Angel Aura pieces are popularly kept for their bright, uplifting appearance. People place a specimen like this on a shelf, desk or altar where the iridescence can catch the light, or keep it in a space meant for rest and reflection. Its shimmer makes it as much a decorative display piece as a working stone.

Each specimen is its own crystal cluster beneath a man-made iridescent finish, so the formation, the size and the play of colour across the coating vary from one piece to the next.

Geological Information
This specimen is a druzy Zeolite enhanced with a man-made Angel Aura coating. Zeolites are a family of hydrated aluminosilicate minerals that form in the gas cavities of basaltic rock; India's Deccan Trap basalts around the Pune region are the world's primary source, and the druzy crust here is made up of many small crystals lining such a cavity. The Angel Aura finish is a man-made treatment rather than a natural colour: the crystals are bonded under heat and vacuum with an extremely fine layer of vaporised metals, which fuses permanently to the surface and produces the iridescent pale-rainbow sheen. The underlying zeolite is soft, in the region of Mohs 3.5 to 4. This material is sourced from India.

AuturaSol Standard
Each piece is selected for its quality, beauty, and visual consistency. Where a material is man-made or enhanced, this is clearly disclosed within the product information. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
The underlying Zeolite is soft and its fine druzy crystals are fragile and break easily, and the bonded Angel Aura coating can be scratched or dulled by abrasion. Handle the specimen gently by its base, keep it dry and away from chemicals, dust it with a soft brush rather than wiping, and store it apart from harder stones.
