Product Description

Apophyllite Druzy Eggs are carved egg forms in grey to white stone, each opening into a natural druzy pocket lined with small, glittering apophyllite crystals. The polished exterior contrasts with the sparkling crystal cavity, and the reflective, glassy crystals catch the light from within the pocket. This is a single display piece, its druzy pocket unique to the individual egg.

Apophyllite is traditionally associated with intuition, spiritual awareness, and calm, valued as a stone of clarity and quiet reflection. An egg like this is commonly displayed on a stand or dish, kept as a focal piece for meditation, or set out where its crystal pocket can catch the light. Its combination of smooth form and sparkling druzy makes it a distinctive display piece.

Each egg differs in the size of its druzy pocket and the clarity of its crystals, so the piece you receive will be its own, distinct from those photographed.

Geological Information
Apophyllite is a potassium calcium fluoride silicate of the phyllosilicate group (Mohs 4.5-5, tetragonal), colourless to white, sometimes pale green or pink, with a highly reflective vitreous to pearly lustre. It forms as distinctive square prismatic crystals, often on matrix with stilbite, calcite, or other zeolite minerals, which is what gives these eggs their sparkling druzy pockets. Its name means to leaf apart in Greek, referencing its tendency to exfoliate when heated. It has no strong ancient tradition, being primarily an Indian mineral specimen. The Pune region of India is the primary source, with additional material from Iceland, Germany, and Brazil.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Apophyllite is a soft and brittle stone (Mohs 4.5-5), prone to chipping and cleaving, so handle it gently, keep it from knocks, and store it apart from harder stones. Take particular care with the delicate crystals in the druzy pocket.
