Tiger Calcite Freeform - 2.5-3.0 inch
Product Description
Tiger Calcite Freeform, a banded calcite polished smooth into a rounded, hand-filling shape, showing bold alternating light and dark bands across the surface. The stone has the soft, waxy lustre typical of polished calcite and a comfortable weight in the hand. Several pieces are shown; this listing is for a single Freeform, with the banding pattern and shape varying between pieces.
Tiger Calcite is traditionally associated with confidence, drive, and steady energy, and is often kept by people who want a boost of motivation balanced with grounding. It is commonly placed on a desk or workspace or held during focused work, and its bold banding makes it a striking decorative piece. Some also keep it as a calming, energising presence in a room.
Each Tiger Calcite Freeform is natural, so the contrast, width, and pattern of the banding differ from one piece to the next.

Geological Information
Tiger Calcite is a banded calcium carbonate (calcite), trigonal and soft at Mohs 3, formed from alternating iron-rich and iron-poor layers by the same banding mechanism seen in agates but in a calcite rather than silica matrix. The named material typically shows warm yellow, brown, and cream tiger-stripe banding; the piece pictured here reads black, white, and grey, so its exact variety should be confirmed. Mexico is the primary commercial source, with additional material from the USA.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Tiger Calcite is soft (Mohs 3) and, as a calcite, acid-sensitive. Keep it away from vinegar, citrus, and other acids, handle it gently, and store it apart from harder stones.
