Tiger Eye Freeform - 2.5-2.75 inch
Product Description
The Tiger Eye Freeform is a polished piece shaped to follow the natural contour of the stone, in warm golden brown crossed by the silky, shifting band of light the stone is known for. As the Freeform is turned, that chatoyant line slides across the surface against the darker brown of the body, and each piece has its own outline, sitting comfortably in the hand or on a shelf.
Tiger Eye is traditionally associated with confidence, drive and personal courage, and has long been carried as a protective, grounding stone. People keep a freeform like this on a desk, hold it when steadiness is wanted, or set it where the chatoyant shimmer can catch the light. Its warm glow makes it an appealing, tactile display piece.
Each piece is cut from natural Tiger Eye, so the angle and strength of the chatoyant band and the depth of the brown vary from one to the next, and the stone you receive will be its own.

Geological Information
Tiger Eye is a variety of chalcedony within the quartz family (silicon dioxide) at a Mohs hardness of 7, formed by pseudomorphism, in which silica gradually replaces fibres of blue crocidolite while preserving their parallel alignment. That preserved fibre structure produces the chatoyancy, the silky moving band of light known as the cat's eye effect, and the golden-brown colour comes from iron within the fibres. The replacement process is complete, so the stone is fully silica and safe to handle. This material is supplier-sourced from China; the primary commercial source is South Africa, with further material from India, Australia, the United States and Brazil.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
