Pink Porcelain Jasper Heart - 1.75-2 inch
Product Description
The Pink Porcelain Jasper Heart is a soft-toned stone in pale pink, cream, and muted green, with mottled patterning breaking across the surface rather than banding. The texture is fine and smooth, and the polish gives it a low, even sheen closer to glazed ceramic than to glassy stone. The Heart fills a hand comfortably with a settled weight. Colour balance varies from piece to piece, with some running greener and others closer to pink.
Pink Porcelain Jasper is traditionally associated with love and compassion, with a gentle reputation quite unlike the driving reds and browns elsewhere in the jasper family. A secondary association with calm and stress relief supports that, and the stone is generally framed around warmth and gentle recovery rather than any active or driving quality. The Heart form is frequently given as a sympathy gift or kept in a bedroom or quiet room, where the muted colouring makes it easy to live with over time.

Geological Information
Pink Porcelain Jasper is a fine-grained rhyolite composed of feldspar and quartz, with a Mohs hardness of 6 to 7. The pale pink colouration comes from trace iron within that feldspar-quartz matrix, and the exceptionally fine grain produces the smooth, uniform, porcelain-like character the trade name refers to. Despite that name it is not a true jasper, which is a silica-based chalcedony; this is an igneous volcanic rock, and the consistency of its texture makes it among the more visually uniform materials sold under the jasper label. The material is natural and requires no treatment. There is no ancient tradition under this name, which is a modern retail designation, though China has extensive traditions of working fine-grained pink stones in lapidary and carving. China is the primary commercial source.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
