Rose Quartz Heart - 3.0-3.3 inch
Product Description
The Rose Quartz Heart is a soft blush pink stone with a cloudy body that diffuses light rather than passing it cleanly, giving the surface a gentle glow at the edges. Paler and deeper zones drift through the piece without sharp boundaries, and faint internal veiling shows in some pieces. This is a large Heart, deeply domed and filling a palm completely, with real weight behind it. Tone varies from near-white through to a deeper dusty pink.
Rose Quartz is traditionally associated with love and compassion, and holds the most widely recognised reputation of any stone in that register, with a documented history as a love token reaching back to ancient Egypt and Rome. That same reputation carries a gentler, more self-directed reading in calm and stress relief. At this size the Heart is a display piece and a centrepiece for grid work, and the scale makes it a significant gift rather than a token.

Geological Information
Rose Quartz is a quartz, silicon dioxide, at Mohs 7 in the trigonal system. The pink colour has two possible origins depending on the material: trace titanium, iron, or manganese in the rarer clear crystal form, and microscopic pink fibre inclusions of dumortierite or a similar mineral in the massive material that makes up almost all commercial supply. Those same fibre inclusions are responsible for asterism in Star Rose Quartz, where oriented fibres produce a six-rayed star when the stone is cut as a cabochon. The material is natural and requires no treatment. Rose Quartz was used in ancient Egypt and Rome as a love token, with surviving pieces found in Egyptian cosmetic contexts and Roman burial sites, giving it one of the better-documented historical records behind a modern metaphysical association. Sources include Brazil, Madagascar, India, South Africa, and the USA, with this material sourced from Brazil.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
