Deep green stone with fiery red flashes for energy and heartfelt warmth
$26.95

Product Description

This Ruby Zoisite with Mica Palm Stone shows a deep green ground broken by irregular opaque red zones and dark accents, with scattered reflective flecks catching the light across the polished surface. The green dominates overall, and the contrast between the zoisite, ruby, and mica reads boldly from every angle. Shaped into a smooth, flattened oval, the piece is substantial in the hand at this size and sits comfortably against the palm.

Ruby Zoisite is traditionally associated with energy and drive paired with warmth of heart, believed to support momentum without losing a sense of care. It is commonly held during intention-setting, kept as a desk piece for quiet focus, or carried for grounding practice. The vivid, three-toned colouring also makes it a naturally striking display object.

Geological Information
Ruby Zoisite, also called Anyolite from the Masai word for green, is a naturally occurring combination rock rather than a single mineral, formed from opaque ruby corundum embedded within green zoisite alongside black tschermakite hornblende. Its Mohs hardness varies between 6 and 9 across a single piece, since the ruby corundum is considerably harder than the surrounding zoisite. The colouring is entirely structural: green from the zoisite, red from the ruby, and black from the tschermakite, with this material additionally showing light-catching flecks of mica. Anyolite was named by the Masai people of Tanzania, a genuine indigenous designation, and the material was commercially identified in 1954. It is found chiefly in the Longido district of Tanzania, with further material reported from Kenya, making it essentially a Tanzanian stone. This piece is presented as Tanzanian in origin.
