Blue Aventurine Rough - 5.75 inch

A raw blue specimen with soft metallic shimmer
$27.95

Product Description

This Blue Aventurine Rough Specimen is a natural, unpolished piece in blue-to-grey-blue tones, with a soft metallic shimmer playing across the broken faces. The raw surface keeps the stone's natural texture, and the aventurescent sparkle catches the light from certain angles. It is a substantial specimen with real weight and presence on a shelf or desk.

Blue Aventurine is traditionally associated with calm and clear communication, and is commonly used as a settling, focusing stone. Many people keep a raw specimen like this in a workspace or quiet corner, hold it during reflection, or use it as a natural display piece; its untouched form appeals to those who prefer stones in their natural state.

As a rough natural specimen, this Blue Aventurine varies in shape, surface texture, and blue tone, so no two pieces are alike.

Geological Information
Blue Aventurine is a quartz, silicon dioxide at a Mohs hardness of 7, coloured by dumortierite inclusions, flat platelet crystals that create both its blue-to-grey-blue colour and its characteristic aventurescence, the soft metallic shimmer common to all aventurine. This dumortierite content distinguishes it from Blue Calcite and Blue Chalcedony, which lack the shimmer. It shares the broader aventurine tradition long used in Chinese and Tibetan carving. This material is sourced primarily from India, with further deposits in Chile.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
