Green Chrysoprase Rough - 3.0-5.75 inch
Product Description
The Chrysoprase Rough is an unpolished, natural piece of apple-green chalcedony. The colour ranges from soft mint to a deeper green across the stone, sometimes with paler or stony patches where host rock remains, and the raw surface has a matte, untouched texture quite different from a polished piece. These are sizeable rough chunks with real presence on a shelf or windowsill, chosen by people who prefer a stone in its natural state.
Chrysoprase is traditionally associated with the heart, with compassion and with an optimistic, forward-looking outlook, and is often described as a stone for emotional renewal. It is commonly kept in a living or working space, held during quiet moments, or placed where its green can be seen daily. As a raw piece it suits collectors and anyone building a natural-stone display as much as those drawn to its associations.
Every Rough Chrysoprase is broken from natural material, so size, shape, colour depth and surface character differ piece to piece, and the one you receive will be unlike any other.

Geological Information
Chrysoprase is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz (silicon dioxide) at a Mohs hardness of 7. It is the only chalcedony coloured by nickel, which gives it its distinctive apple-green to deep green, and the finest material shows an intense, jade-like translucency. It carries a long history, reportedly worn by Alexander the Great and used to decorate the 14th-century St Wenceslas Chapel in Prague. This piece is sourced from Indonesia; the most documented commercial deposits historically are in Queensland, Australia, with further material from Poland, Tanzania, Brazil and the United States.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Chrysoprase can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Keep it out of strong, sustained sun and display it away from a hot, bright window to preserve the depth of its green.
