Product Description

The Blue Apatite Slice is a flat cut section of Blue Apatite with polished faces, in the vivid blue-to-blue-green the stone is prized for. Each Blue Apatite Slice shows a different depth of colour and internal mottling across its flat faces, with the cut edges left natural, and the slab form sits flat or leans for display.

Blue Apatite is traditionally associated with clarity and focus alongside manifestation and abundance, often chosen as a stone for motivation and clear intention. A slice is a natural way to show off the electric blue colour across a broad flat face, kept on a desk, shelf or altar where the colour catches the eye.

As a natural stone, each Blue Apatite Slice differs in the intensity of its blue-green colour, its mottling and its exact size, and the photographs show representative pieces.

Geological Information
Blue Apatite is a phosphate mineral, calcium phosphate (Mohs 5, hexagonal system), its vivid blue to blue-green colour coming from rare earth element impurities. Its name derives from the Greek apate, meaning deceit, because Apatite is frequently mistaken for other minerals; it is also one of the few minerals to give its name to a whole mineral group, and is the primary component of tooth enamel and bone. Heat treatment is commonly used to enhance or stabilise the colour and is disclosed where known. Principal sources include Brazil, Madagascar, Russia, Myanmar and Mexico.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Blue Apatite is a relatively soft stone (Mohs 5) and its surface can scratch. Handle the Blue Apatite Slice gently, keep it separate from harder stones and hard surfaces, and avoid abrasion.
