Amethyst Tumbled Chips - 5-15 mm

Purple tumbled amethyst chips with intuitive spiritual awareness and peaceful calm
$6.95
Portion

Product Description

These Amethyst Chips are tumbled pieces from small to larger fragments in purple to violet, ranging from pale lilac to deeper royal tones, with a smooth, lightly polished surface. The chips are a loose, unstrung form suited to crystal grids, resin and jewellery craft, pouches, and decorative fills.

Amethyst is traditionally associated with intuition, spiritual awareness, and calm, and is commonly used to support a peaceful mind and reflective practice. Larger loose chips like these are often placed in grids and intention layouts, added to craft and resin projects, or used as a decorative fill. Their rich purple makes them a popular material for calming, spiritually themed layouts.

As a natural quartz, each chip varies in the depth of its purple across the mix, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, silicon dioxide with a hardness of 7 and a trigonal structure, its colour produced by iron impurities and natural irradiation within the crystal lattice, ranging from palest lilac to deep royal purple. It forms as prismatic crystals lining geodes and vugs, with Zambian material noted for exceptional clarity and a blue-violet secondary hue. Its name comes from the Ancient Greek amethystos, meaning not drunk, and it was worn across Greek and Roman cultures as a talisman against intoxication and used extensively in royal and ecclesiastical jewellery. The material is sourced chiefly from Brazil, Uruguay, and Zambia, with further deposits in Madagascar and Russia.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Amethyst can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Store or display these chips away from strong, direct sun to preserve the depth of the purple colour.
