Fossil Coral Tumbled Chips - 5-15 mm
Product Description
These Fossil Coral Chips are small, irregular tumbled pieces a few millimetres to just over a centimetre across, showing the fine flower-like patterns of ancient fossilised coral in soft browns, tans, cream, and grey. The lightly polished chips are a loose, unstrung form suited to grids, resin and jewellery craft, decorative fills, and bowl displays.
Fossil Coral is traditionally associated with grounding, patience, and connection to long natural cycles, and is commonly used to support steady change and an appreciation of gradual growth. Loose chips like these are often scattered through earth-toned grids, added to resin and craft projects, tucked into pouches, or used to fill dishes and vessels. Their small size and patterning make them a versatile crafting and display material.
As a natural fossil material, the chips vary in their coral patterning, colour, and size across the mix, so each is different.

Geological Information
Fossil Coral is agatised fossilised coral, in which the original calcium carbonate skeleton of ancient coral polyps has been gradually replaced by silica over millions of years, giving a hardness of around 6.5 to 7. The flower-like circular patterns are the preserved structure of the coral colonies, and because the material is both a fossil and a form of chalcedony it is prized for its record of ancient seas. Colours range from chalky white and grey through tan, brown, yellow, and occasional pink and red. This material is found in regions once covered by ancient seas, including Indonesia and the United States.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
