Malachite Tumbled Chips - 5-8 mm
Product Description
These Malachite Chips are small tumbled pieces in vivid green, many showing the light-and-dark banded or swirled patterning the stone is known for, with a smooth, glossy surface. The chips are a loose, unstrung form suited to crystal grids, resin and jewellery craft, pouches, and decorative fills.
Malachite is traditionally associated with transformation, growth, and protective grounding, and is commonly used to support positive change and emotional release. Loose chips like these are often placed in grids and intention layouts, added to craft and resin projects, or carried in a pouch. Their rich green banding makes them a striking material for transformative, heart-focused layouts.
As a natural mineral, each chip shows a different arrangement of green banding, so no two are alike.

Geological Information
Malachite is a copper carbonate hydroxide with a hardness of 3.5 to 4 and a monoclinic structure, producing some of the most vivid greens in the mineral world, with its colour coming entirely from copper. Its characteristic banding of alternating light and dark green forms by rhythmic precipitation of copper carbonate during formation. It was ground for green eyeshadow in ancient Egypt, and the Malachite Room in the Winter Palace in St Petersburg is one of the most spectacular examples of decorative mineral use in history. The material is sourced chiefly from the Democratic Republic of Congo, with further deposits in Zambia, Russia, and Australia.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Malachite is copper-bearing. The polished chips are safe for normal handling, but wash your hands after handling and do not use them to make water elixirs, and never sand or grind the material. It is also soft (Mohs 3.5 to 4) and sensitive to water and acids, so keep the chips dry, handle them gently, and store them apart from harder stones.
