Product Description

The Flower Agate Heart is a warm-toned stone in cream, tan, and russet brown, carrying pale plume formations that open out through the body like something caught mid-bloom. Those plumes sit at different depths rather than on the surface, so the polish reveals them in cross-section and the pattern changes as the piece is tilted. This is a large Heart, wide across the lobes and filling a palm completely, with real heft behind it. Colour balance and plume density vary substantially from piece to piece.

Flower Agate is traditionally associated with love and compassion, though the reading most often attached to it is one of potential rather than affection, drawing on the bloom-like inclusions as an image of something not yet fully opened. That same unfinished quality carries into manifestation and abundance, and Flower Agate is commonly kept nearby during a project or a change that has been started but not finished. At this size the Heart works as a display piece first, and the plume structures reward being looked at closely.

Geological Information
Flower Agate is a chalcedony variety of the quartz family, a silicon dioxide mineral of the trigonal system with a Mohs hardness of 7. The body is a translucent white to cream quartz matrix, within which opaque chalcedony has crystallised into three-dimensional plume formations, the structures that give the material its name. These plumes formed at a later stage than the surrounding matrix, growing into the quartz cavity rather than being deposited alongside it, which is why cut faces and cross-sections reveal the floral shapes in full depth rather than as flat surface markings. The material is natural and requires no treatment. Flower Agate has no ancient tradition attached to it; it entered the international market only around 2018 and became one of the most rapidly adopted new agate discoveries in the retail crystal trade. Madagascar is the only significant commercial source.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
