Folklore Tarot draws its characters from myth and legend across a range of world traditions, gathering figures that recur under different names into a single deck. The cards print in spot gloss over matte varnish, so pattern and image catch light at different rates across the same surface, and the edges are painted black. The palette runs dark with sharp bursts of colour. A substantial illustrated guidebook accompanies the deck.

Every pip card is illustrated with intricate floral elements rather than left as a plain arrangement of suit marks, while the court cards and Major Arcana carry the mythological figures. That split gives the deck two visual registers: the minors read as pattern and repetition, the majors as portraits, and the difference between them is felt physically as a spread is laid. The premise is that widely separated traditions arrive at the same archetypes independently, so a reading here tends toward the broad and structural rather than the personal and specific.
