Crazy Agate Sphere - 0.75 inch
Product Description
The Crazy Lace Agate Sphere is a small, fully polished orb showing the wild, looping banding the stone is named for, in warm reds, yellows, creams and greys. The swirling lace-like patterns wrap around the Sphere so the design shifts as it is turned, and the high polish gives it a smooth, even finish that sits neatly in the palm or on a small stand.
Crazy Lace Agate is traditionally associated with creativity, energy and a lively, uplifting spirit, often described as a cheerful, animating stone. People keep a small Sphere like this on a desk or shelf, hold it during creative work, or add it to a collection of patterned stones. The sphere form is favoured for radiating its qualities evenly in all directions.
As a natural stone, the pattern and colour of the banding differ from one Sphere to the next, so the piece you receive will be its own.

Geological Information
Crazy Lace Agate is a variety of chalcedony within the quartz family, a silicon dioxide at a Mohs hardness of 7. It is characterised by wild, irregular looping and swirling banding patterns caused by complex fluid movement during silica deposition, with its reds, yellows, creams and greys coming from iron oxide and mineral variation. It is found almost exclusively in Mexico's Chihuahua state and is sometimes called Mexican Agate or Happy Lace Agate. This material is sourced from Mexico.
