Green Chrysoprase Heart - 1.75 inch

Soft apple-green chalcedony, smooth and easy to hold
$19.95

Product Description

The Chrysoprase Heart is a polished heart in soft apple green, smooth and palm-sized, with the gentle translucency this nickel-green chalcedony is known for. The colour can shift across the stone from pale mint to a deeper green, sometimes with lighter cloudy zones, and the lobed shape is rounded and comfortable to hold or to stand upright for display.

Chrysoprase is traditionally associated with the heart, with compassion and with an optimistic, forward-looking outlook, and is often described as a stone for emotional renewal. People keep a heart like this on a desk or bedside, hold it during quiet moments, or give it as a warm, hopeful token. The smooth heart form makes it an easy, tactile piece to return to through the day.

As a natural stone, each Chrysoprase Heart differs in the depth and spread of its green, so the piece you receive will be its own.

Geological Information
Chrysoprase is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz (silicon dioxide) at a Mohs hardness of 7. It is the only chalcedony coloured by nickel, which gives it its distinctive apple green to deep green, and the finest material shows an intense, jade-like translucency. It carries a long history, reportedly worn by Alexander the Great and used to decorate the 14th-century St Wenceslas Chapel in Prague, one of the more specific European references for any crystal. The most documented commercial deposits historically are in Queensland, Australia, with further material from Poland, Tanzania, Brazil and the United States.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Chrysoprase can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Keep it out of strong, sustained sun and display it away from a hot, bright window to preserve the depth of its green.
