Septarian Jasper Heart - 2.25-2.75 inch
Product Description
Septarian Heart is a polished puffed heart showing yellow calcite veins and brown aragonite set within a grey limestone body, in the cracked, cell-like pattern the stone is known for. Each Septarian Heart has its own web of veining, and the smooth domed shape sits comfortably in the palm or on a stand.
Septarian is traditionally associated with grounding, protection, and calm, and it is commonly kept as a steadying, nurturing stone. In heart form it is often displayed for its striking pattern or held during reflection. Its dragon-scale look makes it a distinctive gift.
As a natural concretion, each Septarian Heart differs in the colour and arrangement of its veining, so no two pieces look exactly alike.

Geological Information
Septarian is a sedimentary concretion made up of calcite, aragonite, and limestone, with a Mohs hardness of 3.5 to 5 depending on the mineral present. It forms when mineral-rich mud gathers around an organic core on an ancient sea floor; as the nodule dries and shrinks it cracks internally, and those cracks, called septa, fill with yellow calcite and brown aragonite within a grey limestone matrix. It is often sold under the trade name Dragon Stone for its cracked, scale-like appearance. The primary source is Madagascar, with additional material from the USA, Morocco, England, New Zealand, and Canada.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Septarian is relatively soft at Mohs 3.5 to 5 because of its calcite content, and calcite is sensitive to acids, so handle it gently, keep it away from acidic liquids and cleaners, and store it away from harder stones to avoid scratches.
