HEM Benzoin Incense Sticks (20g)

A warm, balsamic resin note for grounded, purifying spaces
$1.95

Product Description

HEM Benzoin Incense Sticks are built on one of the true incense resins, tapped from the Styrax tree and known across South Asia as loban or sambrani. Each stick is hand-rolled masala over a bamboo core, coated in a paste of the resin along with charcoal and other natural binders, then dried before packing. The result is a sweet, balsamic fragrance with a soft vanillic edge sitting over a genuinely resinous base, warm rather than heavy, and unmistakably different from the synthetic vanilla notes used elsewhere in incense making.

Benzoin is traditionally burned on charcoal at shrines, after childbirth, and to scent hair and clothing across South Asia, and it sits underneath a great many other fragrance blends without ever being named on the label. Burning it on its own gives a clean reference point for a note most people have smelled many times without knowing what it was. It is commonly associated with purification and creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere.

AuturaSol Standard
Each product is selected for its quality, character, and aromatic integrity. Natural variation in fragrance intensity, smoke volume, burn character, and resin composition may occur between individual cups and production batches. Burn time is approximate and will vary depending on environmental conditions, airflow, and placement. Every product is inspected to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding. Incense burns down from the tip, dropping hot ash and embers as it goes - place it in a stable, heat-resistant holder away from drafts and flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Never leave burning incense unattended.
