Each stick is hand-rolled onto a bamboo core using HEM's standard masala method, coated in a paste of charcoal, herbs, and fragrance oils, and packed into a hex box printed with the same golden Copal crystals shown on the stick wrapper.

Copal is a sacred tree resin traditionally associated with Mesoamerican ceremony, burned for cleansing, honouring ancestors, and clearing a space before ritual work, a use still carried forward today in Día de los Muertos traditions. Its fresh, sharp smoke is commonly used to mark a transition or open a space with clarity rather than weight.
