Hematite Tumbled Stone - 20-30 mm
Product Description
This Hematite Tumbled Stone has a bright metallic silver-grey surface with a dense, mirror-like sheen and a satisfying weight in the hand. The polish gives it a reflective, almost chrome-like finish that sets it apart from matte black stones. Compact and smooth, the Hematite is heavier than it looks for its size.
Hematite is traditionally associated with protection and grounding, and is often carried to feel more centred and focused through the day. Many people keep a piece in a pocket or on a desk, hold it during meditation to settle scattered thoughts, or use it to mark the boundary of a crystal layout. Its weight and metallic presence make the Hematite a tactile, reassuring stone to hold.
Every Hematite piece varies in shape and in the strength of its metallic reflection, so each tumble is slightly different from the next.

Geological Information
Hematite is an iron oxide (Fe2O3) with a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6.5 and a trigonal structure. Although polished Hematite is a metallic silver-grey, it produces a distinctive red-brown streak when scratched, and its name derives from the Greek haema, meaning blood. It is the same mineral that colours red rocks, rust, and the red ochre used in body paint and cave art for over 100,000 years, making it one of the oldest minerals worked by humans. The material here is natural Hematite, which is non-magnetic, distinct from the man-made sintered material sold as magnetic hematite or hematine. Sources include Brazil, Australia, England, the United States, and China.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Hematite is an iron oxide and can develop surface rust spots or dulling with prolonged moisture. Keep it dry, avoid soaking or leaving it in water, and wipe it dry after handling.
