Ispalla Palo Santo Renewal Incense Sticks (10 Sticks)

A grounding, sacred wood scent for cleansing and fresh beginnings
$3.95

Product Description

Ispalla Palo Santo Renewal Incense Sticks are hand-rolled in Peru from naturally fallen Palo Santo heartwood, left unblended so the wood's own character carries the entire scent. The fragrance is sweet and resinous with a soft citrus edge, gentler and rounder than the sharp smoke of a dried herb bundle. Each stick is a long format, pale golden-brown along its length, and burns slowly from the tip. Palo Santo trees are left to fall naturally and the wood is aged for several years afterward, a process that develops the essential oils the fragrance depends on.

Palo Santo, meaning "holy wood," has been burned by indigenous shamans and healers across the Andes and Central America for generations, traditionally used to cleanse a space, clear stagnant energy, and mark a fresh start or new intention. It is commonly associated with intuition and spiritual awareness, believed to open pathways to deeper reflection, while its grounding, earthy undertone ties it to protection and a settled, centred state of mind. A stick burner or heat-resistant ash catcher is needed for safe use and is sold separately.

Geological Information
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is a heartwood, not a mineral, drawn from a tree native to the seasonally dry tropical forests of Ecuador, Peru, and Central America. Its golden to amber tone, often marked with darker oil veins running through the grain, comes from resinous compounds including limonene and cedrol that concentrate in the wood over time. The wood is never harvested from a living tree; it is collected only after the tree has fallen naturally and left to age for four to ten years, a rest period considered essential to developing its potency and fragrance. Sourced from Peru.

AuturaSol Standard
Each product is selected for its quality, character, and aromatic integrity. Natural variation in fragrance intensity, smoke volume, burn character, and resin composition may occur between individual sticks and production batches. Burn time is approximate and will vary depending on environmental conditions, airflow, and placement. Every product is inspected to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding. Incense burns down from the tip, dropping hot ash and embers as it goes - place it in a stable, heat-resistant holder away from drafts and flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Never leave burning incense unattended.
