Product Description

Kunzite Tumbled Stones are soft pink to lilac pieces, gently translucent, with a smooth polish that lets light sink into the stone. The colour ranges from pale blush to deeper violet-pink, and many pieces show faint internal striations characteristic of the mineral. These are pretty, pocketable tumbles with a delicate, luminous quality.

Kunzite is traditionally associated with love, compassion, and gentle emotional calm. It is commonly carried as a heart-centred everyday stone, held during meditation focused on emotional softness, or kept close as a soothing presence. Its tender pink colour and gemstone character make it a favourite for gifting and for those drawn to gentle stones.

The depth of pink and degree of translucence vary from piece to piece, so each stone is individual in its colour and clarity, distinct from the photograph.

Geological Information
Kunzite is the pink, manganese-bearing variety of spodumene, a lithium aluminium silicate (Mohs 6.5-7, monoclinic), ranging in colour from pale blush to deep lilac. It forms as elongated, striated prismatic crystals and is strongly pleochroic, showing different colours along different crystal axes. It was named after George Frederick Kunz, chief gemologist of Tiffany and Co., who first described it in 1902, and it has no ancient tradition. It is sourced from Afghanistan, Brazil, the USA, Madagascar, and Pakistan.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Kunzite's colour can fade with prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV light, so keep it out of extended direct sun and store it away from strong light. Handle it gently, as the crystal has a natural cleavage direction.
