Lemon Calcite Top Polished Lamp - 6 inch
Product Description
The Lemon Calcite Top Polished Lamp is a tapering piece of bright yellow Calcite, polished to a point at the top with the base left in its natural cut state, seated in a dark wooden fitting. The polished section carries a warm honey yellow with visible banding running through the stone, while the unworked lower portion stays matte and paler. Lit from below, Calcite transmits light unusually well for a carbonate, so the whole upper section glows evenly rather than only at the thinnest points. At just under 6 inches it works on a desk or bedside table.
Yellow Calcite is traditionally associated with abundance and with confidence, and the warm colouration ties naturally to solar and prosperity themes in the traditions that use it. Calcite is one of the more common minerals worked for display pieces, and its softness means polished surfaces take a high shine but mark more readily than quartz. The cord is sold separately.

Geological Information
Lemon Calcite is a trade name for Yellow Calcite, a calcium carbonate of the calcite family with a trigonal crystal system and a Mohs hardness of 3. The yellow comes from trace iron oxide or sulphur content, and the intensity ranges from pale lemon to vivid amber depending on how much of that trace material is present. At Mohs 3 it is among the softer minerals worked for display, and like all calcite it reacts to acids, including ordinary household cleaners. Mexico produces consistent commercial-grade yellow calcite in massive habit, with further deposits in the USA, South Africa, and Iceland. This piece is Mexican in origin.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
At Mohs 3 this stone is soft and scratches easily, including against everyday objects. It is also acid-sensitive: keep it away from vinegar, citrus, and household cleaning products, any of which will etch the polished surface permanently. Dust with a dry, soft cloth only. Use a bulb of 7 W or less, and unplug the lamp when unattended for long periods.
