Tiger Eye Polished Slab - 3.75-5.75 inch
Product Description
This Tiger Eye Slab is a flat, polished cut of golden-brown stone crossed by the silky, moving light band the material is known for. Tilted in the light, the chatoyant sheen slides across the surface, shifting between deep amber and bright gold. It is a smooth, tactile Slab that shows the stone's fibre structure to full effect.
Tiger Eye is traditionally linked to confidence and grounded protection, and it has long been carried by people wanting steadiness and resolve. As a Slab it works well as a hand piece, a desk accent, or a display of the stone's chatoyancy.
Colour, banding, size, and weight vary from piece to piece, as these are natural stones, and the Slab you receive will be one of a kind.

Geological Information
Tiger Eye is a chalcedony member of the Quartz family, a silicon dioxide pseudomorph after crocidolite with a Mohs hardness of 7. It forms as silica gradually replaces the parallel blue crocidolite fibres while preserving their alignment, and this fibre structure produces the silky, moving chatoyant light band known as the cat's-eye effect; the replacement is complete, so the material is safe to handle. Its golden-brown colour and chatoyancy made it a Roman protective talisman worn by soldiers in battle. It is a natural, untreated material. Origins: South Africa is the primary source, with material also from India, Australia, the USA, and Brazil.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
