$23.95

Product Description

This Astrophyllite Crystal Tower is polished into a faceted, single-terminated point showing golden to bronze radiating blade crystals set against a dark felsic matrix in a starburst pattern. Each Tower is drawn from a lot, so the density and alignment of the blades and the exact size and weight vary from piece to piece. It sits comfortably in the hand or on a shelf, catching light along the metallic blades.

Astrophyllite is traditionally associated with Intuition and Spiritual Awareness, valued as a rare and introspective stone. It is commonly kept for Transformation and Growth and used as a focal point for insight and inner change.

Geological Information
Astrophyllite is a rare titanium silicate that forms golden to bronze radiating blade crystals against a dark felsic matrix, giving the characteristic starburst pattern, with a Mohs hardness of 3 to 3.5. It was first described in 1844 and forms in pegmatites and nepheline syenites, and its name comes from the Greek astron, meaning star, and phyllon, meaning leaf, reflecting the star-like radiating appearance of the bladed crystals. Material of this dark, radiating appearance is sometimes sold under the name arfvedsonite when the matrix dominates. This tower form is also sold as an Obelisk or a Point, all describing the same faceted, single-terminated cut. Principal sources include Norway, Russia, and Greenland.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Astrophyllite is soft at Mohs 3 to 3.5 and can scratch or flake along its bladed structure. Handle it gently and store it away from harder stones.
