Rainbow Moonstone Tumbled Stone - 20-30 mm
Product Description
This Rainbow Moonstone Tumbled Stone is a polished, near-white feldspar piece that throws a bright blue flash across its surface as it turns. The body is pale and translucent, and the blue adularescence flickers at almost any angle, the strongest flash of the common moonstones. Smooth and rounded, these run a touch larger and feel cool and luminous in the hand.
Rainbow Moonstone is traditionally valued for intuition and a calm, balancing presence. Many people use it in meditation, keep it close for reflective or intuitive work, or simply enjoy it as a display piece, and its dramatic blue flash has made it the most popular moonstone in the retail market. It is a frequent gift for anyone drawn to the lunar, reflective stones.
As a natural stone, each Rainbow Moonstone differs in the strength and spread of its blue flash, so the piece you receive will be unique.

Geological Information
Sold universally as Rainbow Moonstone, this stone is technically a white labradorite, a plagioclase feldspar rather than true orthoclase moonstone, with a Mohs hardness of 6 to 6.5 and a monoclinic structure. Its pale body carries a vivid blue adularescent flash, produced by light diffraction between lamellar albite and orthoclase layers, and that flash is usually stronger than in cream moonstone. The effect and market positioning match moonstone, with the labradorite distinction noted for informed customers. India is the primary commercial source, with additional material from Sri Lanka and Madagascar.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
