Moss Agate Tumbled Stone - 1.2-1.8 inches
Product Description
Moss Agate Tumbled Stones show a translucent to milky base threaded with green, moss-like patterning that seems to drift through the stone. At this larger size the dendritic detail reads clearly, and each polished piece carries its own distribution of green against the paler chalcedony. The stones are solid and smooth, sitting well in the palm.
Moss Agate is traditionally associated with abundance and steady growth and is often called a gardener's stone. It is commonly kept where new projects or fresh starts are taking shape, held during intention work around patience and progress, or placed among plants and workspaces. Its calm green colouring and grounded character make it an easy everyday piece to keep on hand.
The moss-like green patterning forms differently in every stone, ranging from fine scattered inclusions to dense drifting bands, so each piece is distinct in its density and translucency.

Geological Information
Moss Agate is a chalcedony variety of quartz (silicon dioxide, Mohs 7, trigonal) with a translucent to milky white base carrying green, red, or black moss-like inclusions. Despite the name, these inclusions are mineral rather than organic, formed primarily by chlorite or hornblende growing through the silica matrix; there is no actual moss or plant material present. It is untreated natural material. Moss Agate has been used across Native American, Indian, and European agricultural traditions as a stone of growth and harvest, and its nature and growth associations are among the most consistent in the agate family. It is sourced from India, Brazil, the USA, Central Europe, and Uruguay.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
