Nandita Original Agarwood Incense Sticks (15g)

A quiet, grounding aromatic for meditation and reflection
$2.49

Product Description

Nandita Original Agarwood Incense Sticks carry the English name for the same material sold elsewhere as oud or oudh: the dark, resin-saturated heartwood that forms when an Aquilaria tree responds to infection, prized for centuries as one of the most valuable aromatics in the world. Hand-rolled in India from a masala paste of natural botanical powders, resins, and essential oils pressed onto a bamboo core, each stick burns slowly and evenly, releasing a deeply woody fragrance with an earthy, resinous base and very little sweetness, closer to old timber and damp forest floor than anything conventionally perfumed. The box holds several individually wrapped sticks, packaged in Nandita's signature paisley-patterned sleeve.

Agarwood has long been used in meditation, prayer, and spiritual ceremony across many Asian traditions, traditionally associated with grounding, focus, and quiet introspection. Its heavy, contemplative character rewards a still setting rather than a casual room, and is commonly used for settling the mind before meditation or ritual work. A stick burner or ash catcher is required for safe use and is sold separately.

AuturaSol Standard
Each product is selected for its quality, character, and aromatic integrity. Natural variation in fragrance intensity, smoke volume, burn character, and resin composition may occur between individual sticks and production batches. Burn time is approximate and will vary depending on environmental conditions, airflow, and placement. Every product is inspected to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding. Incense burns down from the tip, dropping hot ash and embers as it goes - place it in a stable, heat-resistant holder away from drafts and flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Never leave burning incense unattended.
