Nephrite Skull Bowl - 4-4.25 inch
Product Description
This Nephrite Jade Skull Bowl is carved and polished from deep green stone into a skull-shaped vessel with the smooth, waxy lustre the material is prized for. The colour runs from mid to dark green with the subtle tonal variation and fine natural lines typical of nephrite. It is a substantial, tactile piece that works as a striking display or altar object.
Nephrite Jade is traditionally associated with balance, harmony, and steady protection, and it carries one of the deepest cultural histories of any stone. As a carved Skull Bowl it suits an altar or a shelf where a piece with real presence and heritage is wanted.
Each Nephrite Jade Skull Bowl is a natural stone, so tonal variation, natural lines, and surface character will differ from the piece photographed.

Geological Information
Nephrite is one of the two distinct minerals sold as jade, the other being jadeite. It is an amphibole-group mineral, a calcium magnesium iron silicate with an interlocking fibrous structure that makes it exceptionally tough despite a modest Mohs 6 to 6.5 hardness, and its green colour and waxy lustre come from iron content. Nephrite carries one of the most significant cultural traditions of any stone: it has been the primary jade of China for over 7000 years, was worked by the New Zealand Maori into pounamu tools and the hei-tiki, and was used across pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. It is a natural, untreated material. Origins: Canada, particularly British Columbia, is now the dominant commercial source, with additional material from New Zealand, Russia, and Australia.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
