Rainbow Fluorite Moon - 2 inch
Product Description
This Rainbow Fluorite Moon is carved into a slim crescent that shows the mineral's banded colour zones to full effect. Purple, green, blue, and near-clear areas sit in soft layers across the polished surface, shifting as the piece is turned to the light. It is a compact, light Moon that reads well on a small shelf or beside a workspace.
Rainbow Fluorite is commonly associated with mental clarity, focus, and a settled sense of balance, and it is a popular choice for study spaces, desks, and anywhere concentration matters. Held during quiet moments or kept in view while working, it is valued as an organising, steadying stone.
As a natural crystal, each Rainbow Fluorite Moon differs in the arrangement and intensity of its colour banding, so the piece you receive will not match the photograph exactly.

Geological Information
Rainbow Fluorite is a halide mineral, calcium fluoride, with a Mohs hardness of 4 and a cubic crystal system. Its purple, green, blue, yellow, and clear zones develop in bands within a single crystal, each zone recording a different trace impurity or radiation exposure at a stage of growth, so the banding is a natural growth record. Fluorite has been prized since Roman times; the Latin fluere, to flow, names it for its early use as a metallurgical flux, and Roman murrhine cups carved from fluorite were among the era's most valued luxury objects. It is a natural material, but at Mohs 4 it is softer than most commercially traded stones and is sensitive to heat and strong acids. Origins: China produces the majority of commercial multicolour fluorite, with further material from Mexico, the USA, the UK, and South Africa.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
Care Note
Rainbow Fluorite is soft at Mohs 4 and scratches or chips more easily than most crystals, so handle it gently and store it apart from harder stones. Keep it away from strong acids and excessive heat, which can mar the surface.
