Yooperlite Bowl - 2.5-2.75 inch
Product Description
This Yooperlite Bowl is hand-carved and polished from grey stone into a small, open vessel. By day it reads as a plain grey carved bowl, but under an ultraviolet lamp it reveals a fiery orange glow across the surface. It is a decorative piece with a dramatic hidden feature, well suited to a shelf or altar.
Yooperlite is commonly associated with clarity and heightened intuition, and its glow makes each Bowl an engaging display piece and gift. It works as a small catch-all on a surface or simply as a stone shown for its unusual property.
Each Yooperlite Bowl is a natural stone, so natural lines, inclusions, surface texture, and the pattern of the orange glow will vary from piece to piece. An ultraviolet light is needed to see the glow and is not included.

Geological Information
Yooperlite is a fluorescent sodalite-bearing syenite, an igneous rock with a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6. Grey to tan in ordinary light, it glows vivid orange under ultraviolet light due to sulphur-bearing sodalite inclusions, and the glow is only visible under UV. It was identified and named in 2017 by mineral hunter Erik Rintamaki, the name deriving from "Yooper," the term for residents of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and it is also marketed as Emberlite. The fluorescence is natural and intrinsic to the sodalite, and no ultraviolet light source is included. Origins: the Lake Superior shoreline of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Ontario, Canada, where the stone is naturally tumbled by glacial and wave action.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
