Labradorite Pebble - 1.75-2.5 inch
Product Description
Labradorite Tumbled Stone, a large polished pebble in smoky grey that flashes blue, green and gold as it moves in the light. Each stone is rounded and smoothed to a glossy finish, and the labradorescent flash sits just below the surface, shifting with the angle of view. Size, shape and the strength of the flash vary across the lot.
Labradorite is traditionally associated with intuition, transformation and protection, and is commonly used as a stone for insight and steady change. People often keep it on a desk or altar, hold it during meditation, or carry a piece while working through a transition. The flash makes it a striking stone to display as well as to hold.
Each Labradorite Tumbled Stone is natural and sold by weight, so the base tone and the colour of the flash differ from one piece to the next.

Geological Information
Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar at Mohs 6 to 6.5, whose grey base shows a striking play of blue, green and gold called labradorescence, caused by light interference between thin lamellar layers within the feldspar. It was named after Labrador in Canada, where Europeans first described it in 1770, though the Inuit had long known and used it; Inuit legend holds that the Northern Lights were freed from these rocks, with some light still caught inside. The material here is from Madagascar, with the original and other notable sources including Canada, Finland, Russia and Mexico.
AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.
