Product Description

The Fluorite Point is a single upright point polished all over to a smooth termination, showing the banded colour zoning Fluorite is prized for, in greens, purples and clear tones that shift through the body. Each Fluorite Point carries a different arrangement of coloured bands, and the polished faces and flat base let it stand cleanly on a desk, shelf or altar.

Fluorite is traditionally associated with clarity and focus alongside balance and harmony, often called a stone for a clear, ordered mind. It is commonly kept in a study or workspace, held during concentration, or placed where its colour banding can be looked at. A polished point is a practical way to keep the stone upright and in view.

As a natural stone, each Fluorite Point differs in the mix and depth of its colour zoning and its exact size, and the photographs show representative pieces.

Geological Information
Fluorite is a halide mineral, calcium fluoride (CaF2, Mohs 4, cubic system), and the defining mineral for hardness 4 on the Mohs scale. Its colour is highly variable, from purple, green and blue to yellow, clear and multicolour banding, produced by trace impurities and natural irradiation, with colour zoning reflecting successive growth phases. Fluorite has perfect octahedral cleavage in four directions, meaning it can split cleanly along those planes if struck, and the word fluorescence derives from Fluorite, the first mineral observed to fluoresce under UV light. Principal commercial source is China, along with Mexico, South Africa, the USA and the UK.

AuturaSol Standard
Each natural stone is selected for its authenticity, geological integrity, and energetic clarity. Natural variations in colour, structure, inclusions, and surface features are inherent to geological materials and contribute to the individuality of each piece. Any known treatments, enhancements, stabilization, or man-made characteristics are clearly disclosed within the product information where applicable. Every piece is inspected and photographed to reflect its true character; however, lighting conditions, screen settings, and natural variation may cause slight differences in appearance. If you have any questions about a piece before completing your purchase, we're always here to help. Where authenticity meets beauty, we tell you exactly what you're holding.

Care Note
Fluorite is a soft stone (Mohs 4) with perfect cleavage and can chip or split if knocked or dropped. Handle the Fluorite Point gently, keep it separate from harder stones and hard surfaces, and protect it from impacts.
